My heart dog Buddy was a rescue Golden Retriever I was blessed to have on loan from heaven from 2003-2015. He was my best friend and one of the most important things in my life. I credit Buddy with encouraging me to expand my knowledge about first dogs, then the entire animal kingdom, as I helped my family coach him through dietary issues, skin problems, basic training, two strokes, foreign body ingestion and eventually, the right time to say goodbye. There will never be any one quite like him in my heart.
